Leander van Bellen

Managing Director / Registered Senior Surveyor

Education: Diploma of Cargo Surveyor obtained at the International Institute of Marine Surveying 
Experience: Leander started in 1991 as a quality controller at an importing company; later he proceeded to work at a surveying company. In 2007 he had finished all educational trainings to be a registered surveyor and became part of the NIVRE. During his working years he has not only conducted numerous surveys for insurance companies, exporters and importers, but also travelled to Turkey, Chile, Argentina and South Africa to visit clients and fruit growers.


Hans Troost

Surveyor / Quality Inspector

Education: Several specialised trainings such as a specifically on fruits and vegetables, overall product knowledge (growth, cooling etc.) and fruits in detail (exotics, citrus, stonefruit and foreign vegetables and herbs). 
Experience: In 1992 Hans began his career as a quality inspector at an importing company of exotics. After several years he made the switch to a surveying company, where he not only conducted quality controls, but also carried out surveys for a broad range of clients. During the course of his work he visited growers in countries like Brazil, South Africa and India.


Alexander Veltman

Senior Quality Inspector

Education: Alexander has had several specialised trainings on fruits and vegetables, overall product knowledge (growth, cooling etc.) and fruit in detail (exotics, citrus, stonefruit and foreign vegetables & herbs). 

Experience: In 1991 Alexander began his career as a quality inspector at a well-known company of Dutch fruit and vegetables. Later he proceeded to work at a surveying company. Here he not only conducted quality controls, but also carried out surveys for a broad range of clients. During the course of his work he visited growers in South Africa.


Philip Boermans

Senior Quality Inspector

Education: Philip has his degree as fruit Quality inspector 
With this degree he has overall product knowledge (growth, cooling, ripening etc.)
and fruit in detail (exotics, citrus, grapes, apples, pears, stonefruit, vegetables & herbs).
Experience: In 1998 Philip began his career as a quality inspector at a well-known importing company of exotics. After several years he made the switch to a supply chain function at a large Dutch fruit and vegetables company. In 2007 he went back to quality control. Here he not only conducted quality controls, but also took care of the ripening process of exotics (mango/avocado). During his career he attended a course at UC Davis.


Martijn Beijersbergen

Quality Inspector

Education: Retail Entrepreneurship (Level 4) 
Experience: In 2006/2007 Martijn started his profession at Kruts fruits and vegetables, where he was able to collect relevant experience in this market which he can now rely on in his job as Junior Surveyor.


Daphne van den Hoven

Office Manager

Education: Bachelor Business Administration (BBA) 
Experience: Daphne finished her studies In 2012, whereafter she was able to collect relevant experience in the area of administration. She started working for HDG Services in May 2013 and has a long track record of travelling in Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia amongst others).
